Here are a few tips I love to use when organizing my Christmas decoration for storing:

1. Dedicate at least two clear storage boxes for decorations.

2. Label each box (ex: indoor family room decorations, outdoor decorations).

3. Use clear zip-lock bags to store items (ex: garland, beads, ornaments, hooks).

4. Use an empty paper towel roll to store lights. This will keep them from being in a knot for the next year.

5. Label everything!!!!

Let's Get Organized

Merry Holidays to all. I hope everyone had a blessed holiday. Now it is time to put away all the beautiful decorations, but lets keep it organized so next year we won't have any problems.

This week we will focus on the UN-decorating of the year.

It's the season for a lot of traveling here are a few items you should keep in mind when traveling with kids or alone to make everything go a lot smoother.

1. Snacks....snacks...snacks are a huge life saver especially when traveling with kids.

2. Cleaning wipes and paper towels trust me you will thank me later.

3. Extra pair of clothing.

4. Entertainment: Ipad, tablet, phone, books, quiet toy

5. Headphones

6. Chargers for all electronics

7. Blanket, neck pillow, sleep mask

8. Medication

9. Gum

10. Map out rest stops and bathroom breaks if you are going on a road trip.

11. Bring water, food and a quiet toy for your pets.

YAY!!!!! This is the best time of the year for me. I love the holiday season, everything just seems magical.

This year Christmas is at my house and I'm kind of freaked out about it. I love to host and decorate Im just a bit scared about the cooking. I know everyone is tired of turkey and ham by this time so, I thought it would be a great idea to make chili and cornbread. It is getting cooler outside and chili is the only thing I could think of that would fill people up.

Now, I just have one more problem. I don't know what else to serve. I love to give people a few options for food so you don't run out of just one thing.

I am open to suggestions. Please let me know what you think I should add to the menu?

What all can a shower curtain hook do?

Well of course it will hold up the shower curtain for privacy and to keep water from spraying all over your bathroom, but it is also great to use in the closet to organized Belts, Hats, and scarves or you can also use the hooks to display and hang long necklaces off the towel rack to keep the from getting tangled and it will add some color to your bathroom.

So try it out and send me photos of your other ideas you have for the shower curtain hooks.
